Building a Welcoming Community

Building a Welcoming Community

There are many ways to live out our mission together. Whether you’re new or have been here for years, we invite you to connect, build community, and help make this a welcoming and compassionate place for all.

Welcome members, friends, and visitors as they enter the sanctuary. Hand out orders of service, hymnals, help with seating, and pass around the offering plates.

The Caring Congregation group supports members by arrangingmeals, rides, and sending cards to show care and celebrate occasions.Members sign up for two-week shifts to coordinate care and buildconnections within the congregation.

Sing with members and friends of the congregation. The harmonious blend of voices created an atmosphere of unity and joy. As the melodies rose and fell, a sense of togetherness enveloped the room, making each participant feel a part of something greater than themselves. The music transcended words, fostering connections that went beyond the lyrics. After the final note faded, smiles filled the space, a testament to the powerful bond shared through the simple act of singing together.

Join our inclusive community for diverse meals, conversations, activities, and interactive forums every other Wednesday. Engage in social, spiritual, and educational opportunities while forming lasting bonds and sharing stories. Mark your calendar and bring a friend to be a part of our welcoming environment.

Join a cook team for Tupper Suppers. Once a month you and your team would provide a meal for Tupper Supper.

Join our Land Stewardship Team — or just come hang out with us at workdays, bonfires, nature walks, and creative planning sessions! We’re dreaming up all kinds of ways to use the land we’re not building on — like trails, picnic spots, outdoor worship areas, gardens, or wildlife habitats — and we want your ideas and energy.

Whether you love being outside, getting your hands dirty, or just being part of something meaningful, there’s a place for you here.

Stop by on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9am -12pm.

The Clara Barton Guild has been a part of our church community since the early 1900’s, and the mission of the group is to promote & advance justice for women, children, and families through service to the church and the greater community.
