Saturday Noon Meals was established in 1994 by a small group of Christ United Methodist Church members with the vision of providing those in need with a safe place to gather and share not only a meal but also friendship and camaraderie. Operating solely on volunteers and donations, Saturday Noon Meals meets a need in our community to provide hungry individuals & families with a meal on Saturday, a day other organizations don’t. Their mission is to provide an attractively-served nutritious meal in a warm, safe atmosphere for persons in need. Volunteers from First Unitarian Universalist Church assist on specific Saturdays through the year.
