Rachel Maxwell of Stewardship for Us met with leaders and members the week of May 9-16, 2021. During this time, we listened and reflected on our church’s hopes for our building and grounds.

The goal of this week was to assess our readiness and congregational health in considering a building project of some kind. View the final report forum that was held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 HERE. View Rachel’s presentation slides HERE.

Documents and Links

These drawings address the major challenges and concerns presented by our current building which have emerged from congregation input, architectural surveys, and the Building Our Future Committee’s research over the last two years. While these drawings do not contain a finite list of all possible issues, they present a digestible overview, allowing all congregants to feel well-informed and empowered to draw their own conclusions.

Special thanks to Hanneke van Deursen, who grew up in this church and is an architectural grad student, for these drawings!
