First Unitarian Universalist’s budget depends on you – our members and friends. All UU churches are self-sustaining, which means we are entirely funded by our congregation. We are grateful for the consistent generosity of time and gifts from our members that allows us to thrive and grow.
To sustain our current levels of staffing and programming, we are anticipating a 6% increase in expenditures for the next fiscal year. This is needed to support insurance, cost of living adjustments for staff, and continue to nurture our spiritual growth through social justice, music, and fellowship programs.
We are also looking forward and planning for growth and a new building. If you are able to help plan for the future, consider an increase of 8% or 10% to help us save for our move to the new building. We anticipate an increase in monthly costs when we move into our Eliza Place home and would like to start saving for our future. No matter the amount, be it $1 or $10,000, your pledge matters to our shared community!
Contributions for the 2026-2027 church year will begin in June 2026.
