Winter Children’s Program

A festive telling of winter holiday stories, led by several children and youth, including music from the Chalice Choir.
Solstice Service
Sunday, December 21
An annual marking of the longest night of the year, with music poetry, and stories, ending with a fire in the courtyard.

Christmas Eve Services
Wednesday, December 24 ~ 4pm (in person & live streamed) and 6pm (in person only)
Traditional services with readings, reflections and carols, including music from the choir, ending in candlelight and singing Silent Night. Offertory plate will go to our Human Needs Fund.
Ritual of Change and Growth
Sunday, December 28, at 10:00 am (One Service only)
An annual service with music, readings, and a fire ritual to mark the threshold between the old and the new year. Each year, we bring to this service things to let go of and intentions to set.

How Unitarians (Re)Invented Christmas

Christmas has gone through several changes over the centuries. Starting in the early 1800s, Christmas went through several changes, which we
are still living with. We will look how Unitarians had an outsized impact on shaping the American understanding of Christmas.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Open House

Come tour Our Savior’s Lutheran Church – our temporary location until our new church home is built. Staff and leadership will be there to show where all our programming and services will take place.

Soulful Sundown

A Soulful Sundown: Join us for our final morning services at our Walden Lane Church, followed by a late afternoon ritual of leaving our Sanctuary with music and reflections, including a Chalice recessional and pilgrimage to our transitional space.

Guest At Your Table
The Guest at Your Table program has introduced generations of Unitarian Universalists to our grassroots partners working for justice around the world with your support. This church year’s theme is “Plant Seeds of Justice.” Click HERE to donate directly or return a red envelope with your donation enclosed by 12/24.
Holiday Giving Tree (November 30-December 14)
Beginning November 30, donate gifts or money to the following organizations: The Overnight Shelter, The Landing, Project Legacy, Hawthorne Helps. Gift requests will be on holiday ornaments. Bring in the gift/money and hang the ornament on the tree. All donations will be delivered after the 11am service on December 14 to the various organizations leaving a beautiful reminder of our community’s generosity – a decorated tree!
