August 2 – The Battle for the Soul of This Planet: Why We Desperately Need Elephants
Joe Lobl, Robin Taylor, and Donatus Gadiye, Guest Speaker
Longtime church members Robin Taylor and Joe Lobl will address the unique and important role elephants play in the interdependent web, and what is at stake for humanity if elephant populations decline at the current rate. Guest speaker Donatus Gadiye is the Project Coordinator of the Ngorongoro Elephant Research and Conservation Project in Tanzania. He will talk about the work that must be done if we are to save the elephant.
